Somliga av er minns säkert inlägget Buchon-Connie - 2 som publicerades i somras, detta i samband med att Connie Edwards gick ut med att några maskiner i hans unika flygplansamling skulle säljas. För några veckor sedan blev det känt att dessa Hispano Aviación HA-1112 M. 1. L Buchon hade funnit en köpare i Europa. Mig veterligen har det dock inte varit känt vem/vilka/vad som är ny ägare...förrän nu: Det schweiziska Boschung Global Ltd.
I klippet ovan - utlagt för några timmar sedan - ser vi Buchon N4109G (ex spanska flygvapnet C4K-152 och G-AWHR målad som Lufwaffe "Vit 5" under inspelningen av The Battle Of Britain) hosta igång för första gången på många år. Dessutom testas funktionen av landstället. Fast den pålagda musiken kunde de gott gett faen i...
N4109G registrerades den 23 augusti 1973, men det dröjde till den 13 augusti 1976 innan flygplanet fick ett luftvärdighetsbevis. Fast dess flygande karriär i USA verkar inte - som sagt - blivit speciellt långvarig.
