Somliga av er kanske minns inlägget Redigo till salu i Sverige som publicerades i slutet av 2015. Det handlade om att ett antal Valmet L-90TP Redigo, som tagits ur tjänst av finska flygvapnet, inköpts av en privatperson i "gamla Svedala".

Man kan undra om det hänt något med dessa flygplan? Jodå, det har det! Nederländska Scramble publicerade följande text på sin facebooksida tidigare ikväll:

Blue Air Training LLC, a private contractor in the USA received early 2016 a multi-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC). The company will provide 1,000 flight hours per year for Close Air Support (CAS) training and will consist of Dry and Live weapons missions.

Blue Air Training, based in Las Vegas (NV) operates BAC-167 Strikemasters and O-2 Skymaster equipped with FLIR Star SAFIRE III multi-spectrum sensors, and the IAR-823 Brasov propellor trainer and an AH-6 Little Birds.

Scramble just learned that in December 2017, four ex Finnish Air Force L-90TP Redigo training aircraft were transported to the USA.

The aircraft involved were all noted at Skå Edeby (Sweden) in August 2016. A fifth aircraft has not been registered yet in the USA.

The aircraft that have been registered on 11 January 2018 are:

RG-6 (c/n 010) to N90MF
RG-9 (c/n 018) to N702BA
