1954 Saab 92B
One story relating to "our" 92B. This happened at Helsinki-Vantaa museum's flygbokdag several years ago. One gent had bought an bull-nose SAAB 96 from Lappland and driven it all the way home. He discussed about it with an older guy, who I didn't recognize. He said, that he has sold all the late '50s-early'60s SAABs of Helsinki. After that we had about the following discussion:
Me: My father bought 1960 an 92B.
Unkown man: It was a used car, so I'm not sure, if it was sold by us. I sold new ones... But hey, what was the register number?
Me: AM-151.
U: It was such a blue-grey one.
M: Well... according to my knowledge, yes. What else do you know about it?
Unknown man was editor of a classic car magazine. His uncle was Wäinö Bremer and his father was an Air Force officer.

According to Flight Forum Finland from Financial Times: "Rüdiger Hossiep, a psychologist at the University of Ruhr in Bochum, concluded this summer that Saab drivers have the highest levels of psychological involvement with their cars: more than 10 times the passion of the average Volkswagen driver."
And I thought it was either Citroën or BMW...
Saab - mer än bara ett bilmärke...
